No previous experience is needed as Kate will be on hand to guide you step by step, share expert tips, and offer plenty of encouragement along the way. You’ll learn how different types of glass work together, how to create interesting patterns and textures, and what happens during the firing process as pieces are transformed in the kiln.

There’ll be lots of opportunity to experiment and make the process your own, whether you’re drawn to bold colours, delicate patterns, organic shapes, or something completely abstract, Kate will be on hand throughout the workshop to help you develop your ideas and make the most of the materials.

By the end of the session, you will have created your own beautiful fused glass pieces to treasure, display, or give as a thoughtful handmade gift. Your work will then be kiln-fired, allowing the heat to work its magic and bring your designs together.
