Approaches to Drawing & Painting with Lizzie Patterson

Explore new ways of drawing and painting in this one-day practical course designed to encourage experimentation and broaden your approach to making art.

Guided by Lizzie, you will work through a series of unique exercises and experiment with different materials, techniques and ways of seeing; exploring everything from expressive mark-making and colour, to abstraction and unexpected combinations of media. There will be opportunities to work from observation, develop ideas and discover new possibilities in your own creative practice.

This workshop offers a welcoming space to experiment with drawing, sketching and painting, so come along, explore new approaches and see where your creativity takes you.
