Cold wax and oil painting is an ancient technique which has unique characteristics of translucency, texture, body, and reflection of light. This medium uses a combination of natural beeswax and resin hardener, combined with oil paint, to give you many different avenues for expression, discovery, and creativity. 

You will explore how to use the medium and create some experimental and atmospheric artworks. This is a process driven way of creating, using the materials to see what happens, rather than setting out with an intention - perfect for those who think they can’t draw as we are not aiming for an accurate representation of reality!
