PORTRAITURE TUTOR
Lizzie Paterson
Lizzie is a contemporary figurative artist working across the mediums of art and photography. Featured on Portrait Artist of the Year 2025 she is an in-demand artist celebrated for her unique and contemporary approach.
​
A background in fashion photography has been the foundation of Lizzie’s visual language for decades, and its influence runs deep through her paintings. Composition, pose and gaze remain central to her approach, where she combines expressive mark making and the deliberately disrupted illusion of realism to create pieces that feel both immediate and considered.
​
The result is a distinctive portraiture style that celebrates individuality, presence and human connection, and we are delighted to have her share her experience and artistic skill with us in portraiture workshops throughout the year.
FINE ART TUTOR
Jo Shepherd
Jo Shepherd is a celebrated fine art oil painter whose work has been exhibited at the Royal Academy and the Columbia Threadneedle Prize at the Mall Galleries. More recently she has been featured on the BBC and commissioned to paint birds for the final season of Peaky Blinders.

A graduate of Kingston University (BA Hons Fine Art, Painting), Jo is inspired by the natural world around her and her work is highly collectable and held in private collections around the world.
Keen to share her experience and passion for fine art, o teaches in a warm and encouraging way that is as inspiring as it is accessible

She teaches a series of drawing and fine art workshops throughout the year.
FLORAL ART TUTOR
Carol Clark
Carol is an experienced and highly creative floral artist with a particular passion for creating seasonal rituals inspired by Scandinavian rhythms, nature, home and memories.
​Trained at the prestigious Cambridge Flower School, Carol brings a wealth of experience and offers wreath making and floral artistry sessions throughout the year, each infused with her passion for creating mindful, seasonal and meaningful experiences.
TEXTILES TUTOR
WENDY TURNER
Wendy is a highly experienced creative pattern cutter and garment technologist.
​
With over 30 years experience Wendy has worked with designers including McQueen, Ralph & Russo, and Roland Mouret, as well as International musicians and celebrities including Beyonce.
She has also lectured at the London College of Fashion, the University of Southampton, Winchester School of Art and Bournemouth University working with BA and MA students to develop their designs through patterns, draping and toiles to the finished garment.​​

​Wendy runs a varied series of textiles workshops throughout the year. ​
